INSIGHT: How Safe Is Your Water?

All living things must have water to survive, whether they get it from a water fountain, a rain cloud, or a little bottle attached to the side of a hamster cage. Without water, your body would stop working properly.

Water makes up more than half of your body weight and a person can't survive for more than a few days without it. Why? Your body has lots of important jobs and it needs water to do many of them. For instance, your blood, which contains a lot of water, carries oxygen to all the cells of your body. Without oxygen, your cells would die and your body would stop working.

Water is also a fluid that is part of your immune system, which helps you fight off illness. You need water to digest your food and get rid of waste, too. Water is needed for digestive juices, urination, defication and perspiration. There’s no doubt that water is important becuase just like mother Earth, water makes up 70% of the human body.

Why is it then that we, as a people, take advantage of our access to clean drinking water. Most of us go to the faucet and get a glass of clean fresh water several times a day and never give the first thought to the importance of water. We are so accustomed to having it, we rarely think about what our lives would be like, if we had to struggle to find water that was even halfway safe to drink.

QNET InShape: The Right Weight Management Solution For A Healthier, Happier You!

Today’s lifestyle of working long hours, eating high calorie meals, and decreasing amounts of time to exercise prevents us from achieving our ideal body shape. Excess weight and obesity seems to be very common in many countries, and consequently increases the risk of developing diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure and some types of cancer.

Maintaining a healthy weight has never been more important than it is today. Not only does it lower the causes of health problems, but it also makes you feel good about yourself and gives you plenty of energy to enjoy your life! There are many options available for you to help manage your weight, from diet plans to dietary supplements, but here are some of the basics you need to keep in mind.

Know your BMI

The Body Mass Index (BMI) is the best indicator to find out whether you are normal, underweight, overweight or obese. BMI is a fairly reliable indicator of body fatness for most people. BMI does not measure body fat directly, but research has shown that BMI correlates to direct measures of body fat. BMI can be considered an alternative for direct measures of body fat. Additionally, BMI is an inexpensive and easy-to-perform method of screening for weight categories that may lead to health problems.

INSIGHT: 13 Reasons Why Olé Is The Best Antioxidant On The Market

Antioxidants are said by many to have almost magical powers; to reduce heart disease, strokes, cancers, arthritis, degeneration of the macula in the eye (causing loss of sight), Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease. What are they? When a substance combines with oxygen, there is a normal chemical process that occurs in our bodies, called oxidation, that has a by-product it produces, free radicals. Free radicals are molecules that have lost one of their electrons, therefore rendering them unbalanced and highly reactive and are unstable molecules that can damage body cells.

Antioxidants are used by your body to limit this cell damage (oxidative stress) that occurs, for example, when you're digesting food or exposed to cigarette smoke. Antioxidants prevent or slow the oxidative damage to your body and help repair cell damage. This is because antioxidants act as ‘free-radical scavengers’ which fight these cell-damaging free radicals. Many health problems, such as heart disease, diabetes, infections, hypertension, cancer, immune system dysfunction, etc are contributed to by oxidative damage.

Without a sufficiently performing immune system, your body is vulnerable to any number of sickness, disease or illness that comes its way. This begs a question...while your immune system is busy protecting your body, what is protecting your immune system? QNET's answer to this question is Olé. Olé is created using olive leaf extract, which is widely considered the ultimate natural defender of your immune system, containing 400% greater antioxidant capacity than Vitamin C, and up to 40 times more polyphenolics than extra-virgin olive oil.

Are QNET Wellness Energy Products Safe?

Wellness is a state of optimal well-being that is oriented toward maximizing an individual’s potential. This is a life-long process of moving towards enhancing your physical, intellectual, emotional, social, spiritual, and environmental well-being. Wellness is an active process of becoming aware of and making choices toward a healthy and fulfilling life.

"...a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity." - The World Health Organization.

The term “wellness” has become a buzzword among the public, health care practitioners and legislators alike. “...the public is going to hear more and more about the importance of wellness, staying healthy and ultimately reducing health care costs caused by chronic diseases such as heart disease and diabetes,” - ACA President Dr. Rick McMichael.

QNET is doing it's part to foster wellness in individuals by providing their customers with a variety of wellness products, under the brand names of Amezcua, Veloci-Ti and Himalayan Crystal Collection. There is a commonly asked question if QNET's energy products are indeed safe? The short answer is YES. It is not uncommon though to read negative reviews about these products, but they are usually written by people who lack a clear understanding of how the products work, and the tendency of the reviewer to expect more from the product than what it was created for.
